Led by Rutgers Head Basketball Coach, Steve Pikiell, the emphasis of these camps is on developing the basic fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing and defense. Coach Pikiell has created a camp designed to develop players using the methods he has learned and developed in over 25 years of experience coaching at the highest level.
For boys entering 4th grade to 12th grade. All campers must be at least nine years of age or entering the fourth grade in September, 2018 to attend camp.
Registration for all campers will be at the RAC on Sunday, Aug 5th (first session) and Sunday, August 12th (second session)
Overnight camper registration will be open from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
Commuter registration from 12:00 – 1:00.

PLEASE NOTE: LUNCH WILL NOT BE SERVED THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP.
At registration you will check-in, receive your team assignments, receive room assignments and room key, meal wristband, leave money for the canteen/camp store, leave medicines with trainer and pick up emergency camp phone numbers. After registering you should move into your assigned room in the dormitories.
At registration will check in at a separate Day Camper Table. At that table campers receive their meal wristband, leave money for the canteen/camp store and get instruction on drop-off and pick-up times for each day.
Your instruction and development will come from a staff comprised of Division 1 coaches and players as well as current and former professional basketball players. Members of the Rutgers basketball team will serve as camp counselors.
We have a certified medical trainer that will be on site 24 hours a day. We will have a medical table available at check in to accept camper medications and answer any questions. We recommend all medications be in their original containers and be bagged labeled clearly with the camper’s name.
Closing ceremonies begin at 3:00 on the last day of camp. Parents are welcome. Campers will check out of the dorms immediately following closing ceremonies.
